Senior Executive - Regional Operations & Control Tower Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-calibre Regional Operations & Control Tower Analyst to act as the execution and control backbone of GTPC across Europe and New Country Expansion (NCE) initiatives.
This role is responsible for owning end-to-end operational visibility, execution flow, and issue resolution across cross-border trade compliance and market entry activities. It operates as a regional control tower function, converting fragmented operational signals into structured actions, decisions, and outcomes.
The role requires strong analytical and operational thinking to interpret execution signals, diagnose breakdowns, structure problems, and drive resolution across multiple countries and stakeholders.
This position directly enables the GTPC EU Regional & NCE Lead to focus on strategic priorities by ensuring execution clarity, operational stability, and rapid issue closure.
Impact Areas
Speed and success of new country market entry (NCE)
Trade compliance and regulatory risk control
Cross-border operational continuity
Cost leakage prevention (demurrage, delays, clearance failures)
Execution quality across regional GTPC operations
Regional Scope
Primary scope: Europe & New Country Expansion projects globally
Extended support scope (as required): Selected Emerging Markets including Turkey and South Africa, subject to business priorities
Core Responsibilities
Regional Control Tower Ownership (End-to-End Execution Intelligence)
Own real-time visibility of GTPC operational flows across Europe.
Act as the central control tower for all cross-border trade compliance and import execution activities.
Detect operational disruptions early and convert them into structured action plans.
Ensure full lifecycle issue resolution from identification → diagnosis → resolution → closure.
Build operational discipline by ensuring no critical issue remains untracked or unresolved.
Eliminate execution gaps caused by misalignment, delay, or unclear ownership.
Act as the single source of truth for operational status across regions.
NCE Execution Engine (New Country Expansion Delivery)
Own execution tracking across all GTPC-related new country expansion workstreams.
Structure fragmented inputs into clear execution plans with milestones, owners, and deadlines.
Coordinate regulatory readiness, customs feasibility, importer onboarding, and compliance requirements.
Identify gaps in country readiness (regulatory, operational, documentation, partner capability).
Build structured decision packs for leadership (risk, readiness, go/no-go recommendations).
Ensure full visibility of NCE deliverables across all functions and countries.
Problem Structuring & Operational Resolution
Convert ambiguous operational issues into structured problem statements.
Perform root cause analysis across customs, logistics, documentation, and compliance failures.
Develop resolution pathways and recommendations before escalation.
Drive cross-functional alignment to resolve issues within defined timelines.
Escalate only when necessary, supported with full analysis, impact assessment, and options.
Cross-Border Execution Coordination
Orchestrate execution across customs brokers, freight forwarders, regulatory consultants, and internal teams.
Ensure accountability across multiple countries and time zones.
Drive follow-through on commitments from all stakeholders.
Eliminate execution gaps caused by misalignment, delay, or unclear ownership.
Act as the single point of operational truth for GTPC execution status.
Executive Insight & Decision Enablement
Translate operational complexity into structured executive intelligence.
Deliver clear visibility on risks, bottlenecks, and systemic failures.
Provide decision-ready summaries with options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
Maintain operational dashboards for leadership decision-making.
Identify recurring patterns and systemic issues requiring structural fixes.
Process Stabilisation & Continuous Improvement
Identify recurring breakdowns in trade compliance and import execution.
Redesign workflows, trackers, and control mechanisms to prevent recurrence.
Standardise GTPC execution processes across countries.
Drive systemization and automation of control tower workflows.
Build scalable execution frameworks for new country expansion.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a highly structured and ownership-driven individual who thrives in complex and ambiguous operational environments.
Thinks in systems, not tasks, with strong logical and operational reasoning
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and translating complexity into clear actions
Takes full ownership of outcomes and proactively diagnoses problems
Able to influence cross-country stakeholders without formal authority
Disciplined in execution tracking, follow-up, and closure
Prefers building control structures and process clarity over reactive execution
Experience & Skills
3–6 years of relevant experience in supply chain / logistics operations, trade compliance, PMO, operational excellence, or regional operations coordination
Experience in multi-country or cross-border operations is a strong advantage
Exposure to customs, regulatory compliance, or market expansion initiatives preferred
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with proven ability to build trackers, dashboards, and executive-level reports
Familiarity with logistics or trade systems is a plus
