Strategy & Operations Analyst (International Expansion)
Job Summary:
Internally, this role is known as Project position. We are seeking a highly driven person to support our regional growth initiatives and country expansion projects. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong analyst and operations background—whether in investment, strategy, or project management—who thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments. You’ll play a key role in driving new market entries, post-expansion initiatives, and performance improvement across our regional operations, working closely with senior leadership to accelerate the company’s growth into new countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Entry & Expansion
Lead and support the planning and execution of new market entries, ensuring smooth transitions and a solid foundation for long-term success.
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis (demographics, competition, regulatory landscape, and market mapping) to inform country strategies and business decisions.
Identify market opportunities and potential risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive execution with agility and precision.
Post-Expansion Support
Oversee and monitor post-country expansion activities, ensuring business readiness and operational stability after market launch.
Track key performance metrics, conduct analyses, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and scalability.
Work closely with local and regional teams to resolve operational challenges, optimize structures, and strengthen country-level capabilities.
Prepare progress updates, reports, and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders, including service providers and business partners, to ensure alignment during and after market entry.
Collaborate with leadership to refine processes, frameworks, and resources to support successful market expansions.
Provide ad-hoc project support and problem-solving assistance based on evolving business priorities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (ACCA, CFA, etc.) are a plus.
2–7 years of relevant experience from management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate strategy.
Experience in high-growth startups, retail, or other fast-paced environments is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders across regions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging senior management.
Proficient in Excel and project management tools.
A go-getter and agile mindset, able to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
