Senior Executive - Vendor Management
The Vendor Management Office (VMO) owns the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, ensuring vendor strategy, performance, cost efficiency, and risk management. The VMO acts as the central point of oversight for all vendor-related activities, providing standardized governance, performance monitoring, and strategic insights across the organization.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Vendor Strategy & Portfolio Management
Define overall vendor strategy aligned with business objectives.
Maintain a centralized vendor portfolio to ensure consistent management and visibility.
Supplier Qualification & Management
Introduce and manage qualified suppliers in the representative office.
Ensure supplier qualifications meet organizational requirements.
Vendor Sourcing, Evaluation & Selection
Lead vendor identification, evaluation, and selection (Procurement)
Improve procurement competitiveness through structured bidding and negotiation.
Baseline Building
Establish and improve procurement business and cost baselines.
Provide competitive cost baselines to support strategic decision-making.
Performance & Governance
Design SLAs, KPIs, and governance models for vendor performance management.
Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular reviews, including QBRs.
Key Project Assurance
Ensure supplier resource development for responsible categories/projects.
Address supplier-related issues promptly to support project delivery.
Supplier Development & Relationship Management
Maintain strong supplier relationships and communicate with senior supplier management.
Build healthy supplier partnerships and foster a robust industry chain.
Cost Optimization & Value Realization
Drive cost efficiency initiatives and value creation from vendor relationships.
Support renewal decisions and contract negotiations based on performance and value.
Risk & Compliance Management
Manage third-party risk assessments, compliance tracking, and exit planning.
Ensure vendors adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
Standards, Tools & Reporting
Establish standardized tools, processes, and dashboards for vendor oversight.
Provide executive reporting as the single source of truth for management decisions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supplychain operations.
Strong English communication skills (writing and speaking) for reporting,negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience designing governance models, KPIs, and SLA frameworks.
Proficiency in Excel or vendor management tools
