Senior Executive - Logistics System Analyst
Job Summary
The Logistics Systems Analyst supports digitalization initiatives and system transformation within the Global Trade & Product Compliance (GTPC) department. Acting as the critical bridge between operations stakeholders, IT, and external vendors, the role focuses on business requirements gathering, solution design support, and implementation coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure our digital tools are robust, user-friendly, and capable of automating trade and compliance operations logic to drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to global trade and product compliance processes.
Translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
Partner with IT and system vendors to design and evaluate system capabilities and ensure proposed designs align with business objectives.
Assist in creating mock-ups, or logic decision flows to visualize digital solutions for stakeholder buy-in and approval.
Digitalisation & Solution Delivery
Serve as the primary point of contact between GTPC department and technical partners (IT/ system vendors) during system configurations and enhancements.
Drive the tracking of business requirements, deliverables, system issues, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
Facilitate and ensure timely digital rollout, user training, and provide hyper-care support post-implementation.
Maintain meticulous documentation of system logic, functional updates to ensure the digital solution remains audit-ready.
Partner with Logistics Process Analyst to identify the impact of system changes on existing workflows and assist in updating SOPs accordingly.
Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
Facilitate requirement workshops and solutioning sessions to align diverse stakeholder needs into a unified solution.
Develop comprehensive user manuals and lead system-centric training sessions to ensure high system adoption rates across all users.
Serve as functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues and prioritize enhancement backlog based on business focus.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
2-3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Systems Analyst.
Proven experience in system deployment or digitalization projects (e.g.: ERP, GTM, TMS, MRP, or WMS implementations) is highly preferred.
Familiarity with global trade, customs, import/ export, or product compliance processes is an advantage.
Skilled in documenting User Stories, Functional Requirement Documents, and UAT scripts.
Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical developers and non-technical users.
High attention to detail with the ability to spot logic gaps in automated workflows.
Proactive in identifying system risks and proposing creative workarounds.
