Key Responsibilities

• Lead communication and coordination with international stakeholders to monitor import and export activities at a regional level.

• Proactively manage all aspects of country shipping functions and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Apply knowledge of international trade, compliance, and logistics activities across APAC and EU regions.

• Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret trade and logistics data, including transportation costs, lead times, capacity, turnover, and fulfillment metrics.

• Prepare and present reports independently to international teams and management, providing clear updates and actionable insights on logistics performance and key metrics.

• Identify opportunities, risks, and issues, providing solutions and recommendations with immediate or long-term impact.

• Ensure continuous smooth import and export processes in compliance with departmental guidelines.

• Support logistics planning for regulated commodities, including FDA and CE-certified items.

• Assist in the design and implementation of logistics solutions, working with supervisors and cross-functional teams to develop alternative or long-term effective strategies.

• Examine various documents such as costing files, invoices, and other shipping-related documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in global trading, import, and export operations.

• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, including import/export procedures, customs operations, and HS codes.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with peers, supervisors, and international stakeholders.

• Strong sense of urgency, logical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills; able to contribute innovative ideas to operational matters.

• Proficient in English (spoken and written) for effective coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, V-lookup) and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
