Executive - Logistics Controller
The Mission As the Global Trade Analyst, you are the "data detective" of the regional team. Your goal is to move away from being a manual "checker" of documents to becoming a master of data integrity. You will monitor the trade highways to identify glitches, ensure global standards are reflected in the data, and support the automation of regional trade operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Integrity
Data Auditing: Review international trade data flows to ensure local teams are following the global "Strategic Playbook."
Bottleneck Identification: Use data to spot patterns in customs delays or repetitive errors that indicate a need for process improvement.
Dashboard Support: Maintain the data feeds for regional reporting, ensuring that automated systems are pulling accurate information.
2. Operational Support
Process Verification: Ensure that the foundational standards set by the regional office are being utilized correctly by local teams in their workflows.
FTA & Origin Support: Assist in the verification of Rules of Origin documentation and support FTA studies to optimize regional duty costs.
Tool Testing: Support the rollout of new digital tools by performing user-acceptance testing and identifying areas where manual inputs can be replaced by data feeds.
3. Ad-Hoc Problem Solving
Exception Handling: Review and resolve automated "flags" or anomalies in the trade data.
Research Assistance: Gather regulatory info and data for new trade lane projects or tax optimization initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
Experience: 2–4 years in Trade Compliance, Logistics, or Customs operations. Exposure to FMCG/Retail is a plus.
Skills: Highly detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for spreadsheets and data analysis.
Mindset: Proactive and curious. You don't just report a problem; you look for the data that explains why it happened.
Language: Good command of English (Written & Spoken). Ability to understand Mandarin is an advantage.
